Who it suits
Dry, thin or easily irritated skin, and faces. It contains donkey milk, so it is not vegan. Argan is the equally rich bar without dairy, though it contains almond oil; for something lighter, Apricot Kernel Oil.
How it's made
Cold-process: the soap is made at low temperature and left to cure for weeks rather than pushed through heat and pressing. That takes longer and yields less, which is why the bars are made in small batches, but it keeps the oils and the glycerin in the bar instead of stripping them out. Donkey milk is scarce, which is why this is one of the smallest batches we make.

Ingredients
Olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter or cocoa butter, castor oil, sweet almond oil, donkey milk, poppy seed, aqua.
Allergens
Contains donkey milk, and treat it as containing almond (tree nut). Not vegan.
Weight
Approximately 110 g. Every bar is cut by hand, so weight and pattern vary slightly.
Caution
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse with plenty of water if it happens. Patch test on a small area first if your skin is sensitive, and stop using it if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

Keep the bar on a draining dish away from the direct spray and let it dry between uses. A cold-process bar left in standing water softens and disappears quickly.

The color
Donkey milk soap has been made around the Mediterranean for a very long time, and its reputation rests on how mild it is rather than on how it smells, which is barely at all.
Along with Argan it is the richest bar in the range, and the softer of the two on the skin.
Frequently asked
How long does one bar last?Six to eight weeks of daily use in the shower, if it is kept dry between washes. Left sitting in water it can be gone in under three. A draining dish is the whole difference.
Does it smell of milk?No. It is close to unscented, with a faint creaminess and nothing added on top of it.
Are the poppy seeds a scrub?No. They sit on the surface and wash away in the first few uses. The bar itself is smooth.
