Made in Türkiye

The making

Made slowly, in small batches.

The color

Made up on a bed in morning light it looks slightly rumpled by design; linen content gives the cloth body, so it falls in soft folds instead of lying flat against the mattress.

A woven stripe runs quietly through the surface.

Against pale walls and a wooden frame, an unmade bed looks intentional.

The weave

Forty percent linen to sixty percent long-staple Turkish cotton, and the ratio is doing specific work. Linen contributes texture, air movement, and the ability to shed body heat overnight, which is why this feels cool in summer without feeling thin in winter. Cotton contributes the softness linen lacks when new, so there is no break-in period to endure. The blend also creases far less than pure linen ever does.

  • Finished with a soft woven stripe

Styling

This is a base you can build seasons on. Through summer, sleep under the flat sheet alone and fold the duvet at the foot of the bed. Come winter, add a heavy blanket in cream or oatmeal and the sand tone still holds the room together. Being warm rather than cool, it pairs more happily with brass, oak, and terracotta than with chrome and glass.

Frequently asked

Is a linen blend cooler than cotton?Linen moves air and releases moisture faster than cotton alone, so a blend sleeps cooler than an all-cotton sheet of similar weight. At forty percent it is noticeable through summer without turning cold midwinter.

How does it soften over time?Considerably. Linen improves with every wash more than most fibers do, and the cotton in the blend means it arrives soft rather than stiff. After a month the drape is looser and the texture finer.

Can I use one set all year? That is how most people use it. Breathability handles the warm months and cotton content keeps the bed from feeling chilly under a duvet. Layer a blanket over the top once weather turns.
