The color

Mineral is built from very few decisions, and holds together because of it.

The tone sits on the blue side of neutral, which keeps it crisp beside white plaster and concrete but stops short of feeling cold.

Rumpled, it looks intentional.

Made up flat, it looks quiet.

Both states suit a room that has already been edited down to essentials.

The weave

Muslin is cotton woven loosely on purpose. The yarns sit apart rather than packed tight, leaving small channels for air to pass through instead of collecting warmth against your back. Ours is washed before it reaches you, so the mill starch is gone and the hand is already broken in. Every cycle afterward loosens the structure a little further: softer to the touch, a little more rumpled to the eye.

Styling

This is a monochrome bed. Stay inside one narrow band of white, ash and graphite, and let material differences do the work instead of color. A charcoal linen throw, a pale concrete lamp base, a single black-framed print above the headboard. Skip patterned cushions entirely. The discipline is the look here, and one warm-toned object introduced casually will undo the whole arrangement.
