The color
The Oat Veil stripe solves that with a line barely darker than its ground, so the surface has direction and depth while staying pale.
At 200 × 240 cm it covers a queen mattress and reaches down the sides — the difference between a bed that looks dressed and one that looks half-finished.
The weave
Every Heritage piece is woven by hand on a loom, which is why the surface stays textured rather than flat and why no two lengths come out identical. Small shifts in the stripe, or a thicker slub in the yarn, are the record of that process. The cotton breathes, so the cloth carries across seasons, and there is enough drape to fall around a mattress instead of sitting on top of it.

Styling
This is the layer that makes a pale bedroom look intentional rather than unfinished. Over white or oatmeal sheets the stripe gives the eye somewhere to land without adding color. Turn it back at the pillows to show the weave, or pull it up whole. In a room with a lot of light it holds its warmth; in a darker room it lifts the bed off the wall.

How is this different from the throw?Scale. The coverlet is the bed layer at 200 × 240 cm, meant to cover a mattress. The throw is 160 × 220 cm — a sofa, a chair, or one person on a couch. Plenty of people end up with both.
Will a handwoven piece vary from the photo?Slightly, and it should. Loom-woven cloth carries small differences in texture and stripe spacing from one length to the next. Color and pattern hold; the fine detail is never mechanically identical.
Does it work year-round?Cotton breathes, so it does not trap heat the way wool will. It layers over a duvet through winter and stands alone as a summer cover in a room that runs warm.
