The color

The weave

Every meter is 100% Turkish cotton, woven as muslin, an open grid rather than a dense sheet. Air passes freely, which is why it feels cool in July and still layers well in January. Pre-washing removes the mill finish and brings the break-in period to zero. Over a year of laundering the yarns bloom, the hand turns downy, and the cloth wrinkles more freely with every cycle.

Styling

Aim for sun-washed rather than sunny. Bleached wood, chalky white walls, a floor left mostly bare. Linen in oatmeal and bone keeps the gold from tipping into yellow.
