Made in Türkiye

The making

Made slowly, in small batches.

The color

Against the raw texture of Turkish muslin the shade reads grown-up rather than girlish.

The wooden buttons down the duvet closure sit slightly darker than the cloth, so they show as small punctuation marks along the opening.

It is a romantic bed made from restrained parts, which is why it lasts.

The weave

Turkish cotton spun into a gauze weave delivers two things at once: the strength of long-staple fiber and the airiness of an open construction. Warmth and moisture travel through the cloth rather than building up beneath it. The muslin is laundered before cutting, so it arrives supple instead of crisp, and it keeps gentling with each wash, gathering the loose creases that give this fabric its unmade charm.

  • Four-piece set with everything but the insert
  • 100% Turkish cotton muslin, OEKO-TEX certified
  • Duvet cover fastens with natural wooden buttons
  • Pre-washed for an immediately soft, relaxed hand

Styling

Layer softly and let edges stay loose. A cream quilt folded on the diagonal, a second blanket half-pulled, pillows stacked rather than lined up. Antique brass, aged mirror, dried flowers in a small vessel. Pale linen curtains hung high exaggerate the softness. Nothing should look placed. The appeal of this colorway comes from the impression that someone just got up and left the bed as it was.

Frequently asked

Does muslin wrinkle? It does. Creasing belongs to an open weave rather than counting against it. Shaking each piece before it goes on the bed relaxes most folds; ironing is possible but rarely worth the trouble.

Does the color fade?Dusty pink is low in saturation, which works in its favor: less pigment to lose. Cold water, no bleach, and shaded drying keep it steady. Expect gentle mellowing across years, not a visible drop.

Will it shrink?Because the muslin is laundered before it is sewn, most shrinkage has already happened. A cold cycle and a low dryer setting hold the dimensions. High heat will not.
