The weave
Nothing about this cloth is automated — it comes off a hand loom, and the small variations that follow are inherent rather than defects. Cotton is the only fiber involved, which is why air moves through it and why it stays comfortable in a warm room. It falls in loose folds, over a chair back or along the arm of a sofa, instead of standing away from the furniture.
