Flourish Turkish Towel

100% Cotton Jacquard Terry
600 g/m² Dense Pile
Made in Türkiye
The making
Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
In daylight it reads almost neutral; under a warm bulb the rose comes forward.
The raised botanical weave keeps it from ever looking flat, and because the pattern is tonal the color stays quiet even at bath-towel scale.
The weave
A dense cotton terry at 600 grams per square meter, with the botanical motif woven in on a jacquard loom rather than printed on afterwards. Because the pattern is built from the pile itself, the raised areas are structure and cannot wear away with washing. That relief gives the cloth grip and a light scrub as you dry, while the depth of the pile does the absorbing. Both ends are finished by hand with knotted tassels, and like all Turkish cotton it opens up over its first several washes and keeps softening from there.

Styling
A single blush hand towel is often enough — hung by the basin it warms a bathroom of white tile and chrome without redecorating anything. If you want the color to carry, take the bath towel too and keep everything else pale. It also sits unexpectedly well against terracotta and unglazed ceramic, where the shared clay undertone does the work.
Frequently asked
Does the texture make it less absorbent? The opposite. The raised motif is woven from the same terry pile that does the drying, so the sculpted areas add surface area rather than take it away. At 600 g/m² this is a dense, plush cloth — it holds a good deal of water, and like any towel of that weight it wants a full rail and some air to dry properly.
Will skincare mark it?Benzoyl peroxide bleaches cotton on contact and will leave pale spots on any dyed towel, blush included. Keep one dark towel for those routines, or blot with tissue first.
Can I buy a single towel instead of a pair?Yes. Each size is sold on its own or as a set of two, and the pair works out lower per towel — $65 for two hand towels, $112 for two bath towels.
Flourish is also made in Cloud White and Mineral Taupe.

The Difference is in the Cotton

The Origin
Why Turkish Aegean Cotton Towels Feel Unrivaled.
Grown along Türkiye's Aegean coast, Aegean cotton is prized for its long-staple fibers and naturally smooth hand — the same qualities that make Turkish cotton towels a benchmark for softness worldwide. For Calinea, this premium cotton is the foundation of every bath towel we make.

The Fiber
Long-Staple Cotton Fibers, Built to Last.
Long-staple cotton fibers spin into smoother, stronger yarns with less bulk than standard cotton — a cleaner weave and a silkier surface that holds up wash after wash.

The Feel
Highly Absorbent, Sustainably Grown Cotton.
Aegean cotton creates plush, highly absorbent bath towels without the heaviness of standard terry cloth — sustainably grown and finished without harsh chemicals.
