The making
Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
Warmth sits underneath it, closer to unbleached cotton than to bleached linen, and that is what stops a folded stack looking clinical under bathroom lighting.
The pile is thick and evenly cut, the surface matte rather than glossy.
Take one down after a shower and the towel closes around you with the particular density people associate with good hotels.
It is the cleanest shade the line comes in.
The weave
Thickness here comes from loop length. Turkish cotton is woven into a tall, dense terry that traps air as well as water, which explains why the cloth feels warm the instant it meets skin. More pile means more absorbency and, unavoidably, a longer wait on the rail — a plush towel simply carries more moisture out of the shower with it. Air reaching both sides shortens that wait considerably.

Styling
White towels make sense wherever guests are involved. Set two bath sizes and two hand sizes folded at the end of a spare bed and nobody has to ask which ones are theirs. This shade also works as the base layer of a mixed bathroom: pale on the rail, something darker on the hook for daily use. Wash whites together and a set stays consistent for years.
