How the bundle works
Two choices, made above. Piece mix decides which sizes you get — hand towels and bath towels for a bathroom where guest towels go unused, all three sizes for a full set, or guest towels and hand towels to top up what you already own. Bundle size then decides how many of each: a set of 2 for one person, 4 for a couple, 6 to keep a spare in rotation so nothing is ever waiting on the laundry.

Wash before first use. Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, using a mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener — both reduce absorbency over time. Tumble dry low, or hang to air dry.

The making
Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
Against chrome and glass it reads deliberate rather than default, and as a full set it is the shade that holds a monochrome bathroom together: grey grout, honed stone, matte black fixtures, one plant and nothing else on the shelf.
Folded on a rail the waffle texture is what your eye picks up first — a fine grid of squares, matte, holding no shine at all.
The weave
Terry works by volume. Waffle works by structure. Recessed squares create air channels through the cloth, which is why it feels dry to the touch soon after use and never develops the heavy, sour dampness a thick towel can. Absorbency comes from surface contact, not bulk — so six pieces stack to a fraction of the shelf terry would need, and the whole set comes out of one wash cycle lighter.

Frequently asked
Which set size should I buy?Two pieces per size covers one person with nothing spare. Four works for a couple. Six is what you want if you would rather not time your laundry around your shower — there is always a clean one on the rail.
Does a mid grey show marks?Less than white and less than a dark shade, which is the advantage of a middle neutral. Keep a white guest towel aside for acne treatments and self-tanner, the two things that mark any dyed cotton.
Is waffle too thin for winter?It is lighter than terry, so it feels less enveloping on a cold morning. Most people size up to the bath towel and find that solves it. In an unheated bathroom, terry will feel warmer.
