Soft Sand is sun-washed rather than yellow — a warm oatmeal beige that sits half a step off cream and keeps a white bathroom from reading cold. The raised weave gives the plain colour somewhere to go, so the towel has depth up close and stays quiet from the doorway. The border layers taupe, ivory and warm earth tones, just enough contrast to make the piece distinctive without turning it into a statement.

The weave+
The yarn is combed before weaving, a step that strips out short fibers and leaves the cotton smoother and considerably stronger. Santa Fe then uses a raised textured ground instead of a plain terry pile, which is what gives the cloth its substance and its slight grip against skin. Expect a little crispness on arrival; it relaxes within a few cycles and keeps easing after that.

Styling+
This is the Santa Fe to buy when the bathroom is already beige and you cannot change it. Builder-grade tile, oak vanities and warm bulbs all sit better beside a warm neutral than beside optic white. Two bath towels folded in thirds, one hand towel at the sink, and the border pattern supplies the only decoration the room needs. Pair with rattan or unglazed stoneware.

Which size should I order?Hand towel (20 × 35 in / 50 × 90 cm) at the sink, bath towel (28 × 55 in / 70 × 140 cm) for everyday drying, bath sheet (35 × 59 in / 90 × 150 cm) if you prefer to wrap. One bath and one hand towel per person covers daily use; two of each lets a set sit in the laundry.
Does a light colour stain easily?Soft Sand is more forgiving than white because it is warm and low in saturation. Keep it away from benzoyl peroxide, which bleaches cotton permanently, and wash oils and lotions out warm rather than hot.
Can it go in the dryer?Yes, on low. Take it out while barely warm and shake it once so the textured ground opens rather than setting flat. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers and cuts absorbency.
