The color
Mist Grey carries no obvious blue and no obvious brown, which is exactly its usefulness.
It sits beside cream, beside charcoal, beside pale wood, beside black tile, and argues with none of them.
Wet, it drops a shade or two and comes back.
If you rent, repaint often, or would rather not think about the bathroom again, begin here.
The weave
Density without loft is the whole idea. Cotton is combed to a clean, even yarn, then woven tight and short so the cloth behaves more like a good shirt than a rug: smooth to touch, quick to lift water off skin, and slim enough that a full set fits on one shelf. Give it three or four trips through the wash and the softness arrives, then stays put.

Styling
Buy this color when you are not sure. Warm rooms full of oak, brass, and terracotta take it as a cool counterweight, while cool rooms of grey tile, chrome, and glass read it as the softer member of the family. It mixes well too. Try a bath sheet in this shade under Ash Taupe hand towels for a two-tone stack that looks composed instead of accidental.
Frequently asked
Bath towel or bath sheet, which size?Bath towel for efficient drying and less laundry weight. Bath sheet if you want to wrap up and stay wrapped. Plenty of households keep both, using sheets for adults and towels for kids and guests.
Does it lint or shed?Almost none. Combing pulls the short fibers out before spinning, and those are what cause fuzz in cheaper towels. Run it separately once and after that it can dry alongside dark clothing.
Is it good for hair?Gentler than standard terry, yes. A low, smooth surface blots water instead of catching strands, which helps with frizz. Wrap using the hand towel and press rather than rub.
Compare the neighbors: Stone Linen, Cloud White, Blue Slate, Ash Taupe, and Blush Veil.

The Difference is in the Cotton

The Origin
Why Turkish Aegean Cotton Towels Feel Unrivaled
Grown along Türkiye's Aegean coast, Aegean cotton is prized for its long-staple fibers and naturally smooth hand, the same qualities that make Turkish cotton towels a benchmark for softness worldwide. For Calinea, this premium cotton is the foundation of every bath towel we make.

The Fiber
Long-Staple Cotton Fibers, Built to Last
Long-staple cotton fibers spin into smoother, stronger yarns with less bulk than standard cotton, for a cleaner weave and a silkier surface that holds up wash after wash.

The Feel
Highly Absorbent, Sustainably Grown Cotton
Aegean cotton creates plush, highly absorbent bath towels without the heaviness of standard terry cloth, sustainably grown and finished without harsh chemicals.
