Fine Weave Bath Towel
Combed Turkish cotton, 500 gsm · 28 × 55 in · six colors
- Composition
- 100% long-staple Turkish cotton
- Size
- Bath Towel 28 × 55 in / 70 × 140 cm
Bath Towel: 28 × 55 in / 70 × 140 cm
The colors
Six colors, one weave. Cloud White and Mist Grey are the quiet defaults; Ash Taupe and Stone Linen warm a room with wood or unlacquered brass; Blush Veil and Blue Slate carry a little color without shouting. Because every size is cut from the same cloth, a bath towel, hand towel, and guest towel in one color read as a set — and mixing two neighbouring shades in a stack looks intentional rather than mismatched.

The making
Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
Combed Turkish cotton set close and flat at 500 grams per square meter, so it drinks water fast and is dry on the rail before the next shower.
Six colors, all off the same loom, which means a bath towel in Mist Grey hangs beside a hand towel in Cloud White with no shift in texture.
The weave
Combed cotton, tightly set and kept close to the surface. There is no loop-heavy loft here, so the cloth stays thin enough to fold into a small stack while still drinking water fast and releasing it just as quickly on the rail. Against skin it feels smooth rather than fuzzy. A few cycles through the wash and the hand softens noticeably while that flat profile holds, which is why a shelf of these takes so little room.
- Low-pile and flat — takes water fast, gives it back on the rail
Frequently asked
Bath towel or bath sheet? The bath towel handles daily use for most adults. Move up to the bath sheet if you are tall, if you like being wrapped fully after a shower, or if you dry long hair.
Fine weave or waffle, which should I pick?Choose fine weave for a smooth, hotel-like surface and a compact fold. Choose waffle if you want visible texture and the quickest possible drying. For most bathrooms the fine weave is the better everyday towel.
How should I wash it the first time?Alone, warm, a normal dose of detergent, and no softener, which leaves a coating that repels water. Tumble on low. Absorbency improves noticeably across the first three or four cycles.
Fine Weave is also made as a Bath Sheet, Hand Towel, and Guest Towel.

The Difference is in the Cotton

The Origin
Why Turkish Aegean Cotton Towels Feel Unrivaled.
Grown along Türkiye's Aegean coast, Aegean cotton is prized for its long-staple fibers and naturally smooth hand — the same qualities that make Turkish cotton towels a benchmark for softness worldwide. For Calinea, this premium cotton is the foundation of every bath towel we make.

The Fiber
Long-Staple Cotton Fibers, Built to Last.
Long-staple cotton fibers spin into smoother, stronger yarns with less bulk than standard cotton — a cleaner weave and a silkier surface that holds up wash after wash.

The Feel
Highly Absorbent, Sustainably Grown Cotton.
Aegean cotton creates plush, highly absorbent bath towels without the heaviness of standard terry cloth — sustainably grown and finished without harsh chemicals.
