How the bundle works
Two choices, made above. Piece mix decides which sizes you get — hand towels and bath towels for a bathroom where guest towels go unused, all three sizes for a full set, or guest towels and hand towels to top up what you already own. Bundle size then decides how many of each: a set of 2 for one person, 4 for a couple, 6 to keep a spare in rotation so nothing is ever waiting on the laundry.

Wash before first use. Machine wash cold or warm with like colors, using a mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener — both reduce absorbency over time. Tumble dry low, or hang to air dry.

The making
Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
It is the most forgiving color in the range: it does not show a water mark the way a pale towel does, and it sits easily against oak, brass and unglazed tile.
Bought as a bundle it does what one towel cannot, which is make a rail look intended rather than accumulated.
In low bathroom light it goes browner; in daylight the grey comes forward.
The weave
Miel is built on a honeycomb structure — small raised cells that give the cotton depth without adding weight. The pockets pull water in and let air move straight through them, so the cloth wicks fast and gives its moisture up on the rail instead of holding it. Less mass to saturate means a lighter towel, a shorter spin, and a stack of six that takes a fraction of the shelf terry would. The cells hold light and shadow separately, which is what lets a color this mixed stay legible across a wide towel.

Frequently asked
Does the color fade?Not appreciably in ordinary use. Wash it with like colors in cold or warm water and keep chlorine bleach away from it. A shade built on grey and brown together also disguises the small changes any dyed cotton makes over a few years.
Which set size should I buy?Two pieces per size covers one person with nothing spare. Four works for a couple. Six is what you want if you would rather not time your laundry around your shower — there is always a clean one on the rail.
Does it get softer?Yes, and the first two or three washes are the ones that matter — the cells loosen, the cotton gives up its finish, and the cloth drapes instead of standing up. Skip fabric softener; it coats the fiber and slows the drying this weave is built for.
