The color

The weave

Luma is the light end of our towel range. A flat, low-pile Turkish cotton weave means less bulk in the hand, faster drying on the rail, and a towel that folds down to almost nothing in a linen closet. It dries you by contact rather than by soaking, which suits anyone who dislikes heavy terry. The knotted fringe is part of the structure, closing the cut edges instead of a stitched hem.

Styling

Because the shade sits so close to plaster and unfinished wood, this works in bathrooms that have no scheme at all — a rental with beige tile, say, where bright white would look clinical. Hang two on a single hook and let the fringe stack. If your walls run cool, the warmth here does the correcting for you. It also looks right rolled into an open basket beside the tub.
