Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
Narrow black bands run the length of a natural-ground bath sheet woven from Aegean cotton and linen, cut large enough to wrap an adult fully and long enough to fold over a rail and still cover it.
Linen leaves a faint slub you can feel under your palm.

The weave
Cotton and linen are woven together here for reasons you notice in use. Linen supplies structure, holding the cloth flat, resisting cling, and pulling moisture out through the weave so this dries faster than an all-cotton towel of the same size. Cotton supplies softness and absorbency. New, the hand is crisp and dry; after a month of washing it breaks in the way good linen bedding does, going supple without going slack.

Styling
One striped bath sheet does more for a plain bathroom than a full set of anything else. Hung alone against white tile, the black lines act like a drawn frame; placed beside solid Cloud White, the stripe reads deliberate instead of busy. It also travels well, folding down small in a tote, shaking sand loose cleanly, and drying over a chair at the pool inside an hour.

Does it work as a beach towel?That is often the reason for the second one. Linen releases sand after it dries, the length covers a lounger, and it folds flatter than terry. Rinse the salt out before its next wash.
Bath sheet or a regular bath towel?This comes in one generous size, cut to go around an adult with room left over. If you have only ever used standard towels, expect something closer to a light blanket.
Does the linen shed or pill?Pilling is not an issue; linen fiber is too long for it. A few loose threads may appear after the first wash, which is normal in a blend and settles once the weave tightens.
