The making
Made slowly, in small batches.
The color
Against the honeycomb texture the color reads unevenly in a pleasing way, deeper inside each cell and lighter along the raised edges.
One folded bath towel is enough to warm a white bathroom; a full stack turns the pink into the quiet center of the room.
The weave
Underneath the color, Miel is a honeycomb waffle: pockets raised in a grid across a lightweight cotton ground. The pockets do the absorbing and the gaps between them do the drying, letting air move through the cloth instead of trapping damp in a pile. Expect a little structure at first and a looser, softer hand within a few laundry cycles.

Styling
Pink behaves best with a partner. Put Dusty Rose next to warm wood and a green plant and the shade turns almost neutral; set it beside brass and it warms further. It is also an easy way to mark whose towel is whose in a shared bathroom — one rose set, one grey set, no labels required, and the two tones sit comfortably side by side.
Frequently asked
How does it wash?Warm or cold, normal cycle, low tumble. A first wash on its own is worth doing with any dyed towel. After that it can join the rest of the bathroom laundry, as long as the drum is not overloaded.
Will the color fade?Pinks are more sensitive than neutrals, so treat this one gently: cold water, low heat, no bleach, and out of the dryer before it bakes. Handled that way, the shade stays close to what arrived.
How does waffle compare to terry?Terry gives you loft and bulk; waffle gives you structure and speed. This towel is thinner in the hand than a plush terry bath sheet but takes up water just as readily and is back to dry far sooner.
